Plans call for the renovation of the first floor space at the Blaine Human Services Center. Question Deadline 10/17/2025 at 3:00 PM CT All questions regarding the protest should be directed to: Lindsey Felgate, Purchasing Manager 763-324-1735 or Lindsey.Felqate@anokacountymn.gov DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND: The project consists of the construction of a remodeling of the first floor space at the Blaine Human Services Center for the Achieve Services program EXISTING BUILDING SYSTEM WORK SCOPE A. All existing control system components that are not incorporated into the finished system shall be removed. The extent of demolition shall include but not be limited to the following; pneumatic tubing and pnemnatic system components, control wiring, conduit and raceway systems, control cabinets, 120/1 volt power wiring, controllers, sensing devices, and actuators. System components that have been abandoned in previous projects shall be included in the demolition scope. Field verify the extent of demolition required. B. It is the intent to provide new direct digital controls for all new and to replace all ofthe existing controls and components for existing system that are shown to remain where allowed as described within each Control Sequence and Points Schedule, existing control systems and components may be revised at the Contractors discretion. Any control components that are re-used shall be functionally tested to provide they are in good working condition. Submit a report to the engineer. C. Protect all system wiring and control components in areas ofthe building that are renovated. Field verify conditions prior to work starting. Coordinate protection requirements with other trades. D. Special Pneumatic System Requirements: In renovated areas ofthe building where it is the intent that pneumatic systems will remain, cap all branch tubing at the nearest pneumatic main. Ifsystem leaks persist, as measured by the air compressor cycling, then new pneumatic main air shall be routed to each existing system
