The Project consists of Construction of new gun range facilities on the Beaver Wildlife Management Area (WMA) to support hunter education, hunter skill improvement, and recreational shooting. Description of the Base Bid is to include the following items of work: 1. New 50-yard pistol range area with concrete firing line. 2. New concrete low water crossing. 3. New earthen berms on the sides and backstop for bullet containment on the pistol and rifle ranges. Berms are sloped at 2:1 and are a minimum of 10 feet tall for the side berms and 20 feet tall for the backstop berm. 4. Miscellaneous ditch improvements, concrete sidewalks, gravel drive, and other range support items as shown in the plans and specifications.
