The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) is seeking a firm-fixed-price construction contractor to replace the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Food Service coolers and freezers at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Pekin, Illinois. The project involves furnishing all equipment, materials, and labor necessary for the complete construction and replacement of these units, in accordance with the specifications provided in the solicitation documents. Access to certain attachments, including drawings and pictures, is restricted and requires active SAM.gov registration and a valid MPIN. This is a 100% small business set-aside, and bidders must meet the small business size standard under NAICS code 238220 ($19 million). Only prime contractors are eligible to bid; subcontracting arrangements are the responsibility of the awarded prime contractor. NCIC background checks will be required for participants attending this conference. The authorization for release of information (Form BP-A0660 NCIC Check, attached) shall be completed for each attendee and submitted to FCI Pekin no later than October 15, 2025 by 2:00 PM CST, email to: Gary Kurtz, Supervisory Contract Specialist at Gkurtz@bop.gov.
