Site work for a water / sewer project in Reedley, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
PROJECT SCOPE: Scope of work includes NEW irrigation main from existing pressure tank, including new connection to the pressure tank outlet manifold. New irrigation valves, controller, laterals, and heads as per district specifications, assigned project dates, and timelines. All requests for information ("RFI") must be submitted electronically via Question & Answer ("Q&A") tab at by 2:00 pm on September 10, 2025. Questions submitted after this date will not be reviewed or answered. Bid Valid 45 days Liquidated Damages $1500/day Estimated Bid Value Under CUPCCAA Bid Limits Start/Delivery Date On or about 10/13/2025 complete on or before 2/6/2026 Project Duration 8 weeks BONDS AND INSURANCE: Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond as bid security secured from a California admitted surety company the form provided by the District in the Contract Documents ("Bid Security"). The amount of the Bid Security shall be at least ten percent (10%) of Bidder's Total Bid Price, made payable to the State Center Community College District. The Bid Security shall be provided as a guarantee that within five (5) working days after the District provides the successful Bidder the Notice of Award, the successful Bidder will enter into a contract and provide the necessary bonds and certificates of insurance. The successful bidder will forfeit the Bid Security if the Bidder fails to comply. No interest will be paid on funds deposited with District. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, from a California admitted surety company and, on the forms, provided in the Contract Documents, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. DISTRICT'S RIGHT TO REJECT: District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process. Contractor agrees to perform the work and to furnish all tools, equipment, apparatus, facilities, labor and material necessary to perform and complete in a good workmanlike manner, all parts of the work as called for in a manner designated in and in strict conformance with the scope of work set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein (Scope of Work) and the Contract Documents. It is understood and agreed that said tools, equipment, apparatus, facilities, labor and material shall be furnished and said work performed and completed as required in said Scope of Work under the direction and supervision of, and subject to the approval of the District's authorized representative. Contractor's Work shall also be consistent with the standards generally recognized as being employed by professionals in the same discipline in the State of California. Contractor represents and maintains that it is skilled in the professional calling necessary to perform the Work. Contractor warrants that all employees and subcontractors shall have sufficient skill and experience to perform the Work assigned to them. Finally, Contractor represents that it, its employees and subcontractors have all licenses, permits, qualifications and approvals of whatever nature that are legally required to perform the Work, including a Business License, and that such licenses and approvals shall be maintained throughout the term of this Contract. As provided for in the indemnification provisions of this Contract, Contractor shall perform, at its own cost and expense and without reimbursement from the District, any work necessary to correct errors or omissions which are caused by Contractor's failure to comply with the standard of care provided for herein. Any employee who is determined by the District to be uncooperative, incompetent, a threat to the safety of persons or the Work, or any employee who fails or refuses to perform the Work in a manner acceptable to the District, shall be promptly removed from the Project by Contractor and shall not be re-employed on the Work. Furnish all labor, equipment and materials and related items necessary and required to complete the work as indicated at 995 pursuant to the attached minimum specifications.
