Sealed bids are requested for the award of a contract to construct RHS Concrete & Metal Building as per provided contract documents, including drawings and specifications available electronically from the district website. The owner may add or deduct items after determining the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, with the lowest bid based on the base bid amount. The project requires payment of prevailing wage rates as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations. All public works projects over $25,000 require contractors and subcontractors to be currently registered and qualified under Labor Code section 1725.5, with registration numbers listed for subcontractors performing more than 0.5% of the bid. The contract time is 60 calendar days, with liquidated damages for delay. Bids must be sealed and submitted to the specified address prior to the deadline; faxed bids are not accepted. oncrete & Foundation Work Slab Construction: Install a 4" thick concrete slab reinforced with wire mesh. Install vapor barrier throughout. Foundation: Construct a 12" x 12" perimeter footing. Foundation shall be 4-6 inches above grade. Drive Apron: Install a 20' x 60' drive apron consisting of a 4" thick slab with wire mesh. 3. Structural Steel Erection Frame Assembly: Erect the cold-formed steel building frame in accordance with the BORGA construction package and engineering drawings. Bracing: Install all required bracing as detailed in the structural plans. Temporary Bracing: The contractor is solely responsible for the procurement and installation of temporary bracing to ensure structural stability during the entire construction process. Exterior Sheeting & Openings Openings: Frame and install the following as per the Wall Opening Schedule (3) 10' x 10' Roll-up Doors (4) 4' x 5' Windows (1) 3' x 7' Personnel (PA) Door Questions regarding documents, discrepancies, omissions, or doubt as to meanings shall be referred immediately to the Architect who will send written instructions clarifying such questions to each bidder.
