Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Temple, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 13,504-square-foot fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and 18,495-square-foot fire / police facility.
Proposal submittals will be received to furnish all labor and materials and perform all work for the construction of the following described project: POLICE TRAINING CLASSROOM & RANGE BUILDINGS Construction of a 13,504 square foot classroom building and a 18,495 square foot indoor shooting range with storage building on the City's Public Safety Training Campus located at 7268 Airport Road. The project also includes a shared covered courtyard/plaza between the two buildings (Add Alternate), landscaping and drainage improvements around the buildings, an expansion of the existing parking lot, a secured parking lot, fences, maintenance access drives, and a new secondary access drive connection to Airport Road. The estimate of probable cost for this project is $22,952,333. It is estimated that the Contractor will need 17 months to construct the project from Notice to Proceed. The exact contract term will be negotiated with the highest ranked Contractor.
