Question Deadline 08/29/2025 at 12:00 PM ET Air Handler Replacement At Asec Air Handlers - The existing air handlers 1,2,3,4,5,6 will be replaced with new units. Six air handlers will be replaced in total. Six of these are on the mezzanine level above the hall on the second floor. 2.2 Access - The air handlers will need to be unloaded at the rear of the building at the dock and moved down the hall for six of the units. A lift will be needed to elevate Six of the units up to the mezzanine level. The contractor needs to complete a on site review of the access to determine any items needed to be moved and what is needed to remove the existing units and replace the six units on the mezzanine. 2.3 Demolition - Disconnect all piping at the headers and remove the existing air handlers, existing VAVs and existing Fan Powered VAV's with thermostats, and dispose per code and Anderson County directions. Any electric motors will be saved per directions of the Anderson County project manager. Anything which needs to be removed will be placed back in service after installation of the new air handlers. o Demo VAV's Quantity of 28 with Reheat Coils and cap water piping to existing VAV airtight. The VAV,s will be modified to work as manual supply grills and manually balanced for air flow shown on the drawings. 2.4 Ductwork - Connect new air handlers 1,2,3,4,5 & 6 to the existing supply duct, return ducts, and outside air ductwork. Connect new ductwork for demo VAVs boxes and Demo Fan Powered VAV's with new balance damper. 2.5 Air Balance - Air Balance new air handlers 1,2,3,4,5 & 6. 2.6 Smoke Detectors - New smoke detectors for air handlers 1,2,3,4,5 & 6. Demo existing smoke detectors. 2.7 Controls - The new air handlers will have new control valves for the hot and chilled water coils with electronic controls provided and installed by Harris IntegratedSolutions.
