The City seeks to upgrade to LED lighting to improve visibility, reduce glare, lower energy costs, and minimize maintenance. The City of Crossville is requesting bids from qualified contractors to furnish and install LED lighting retrofits at the pickleball courts located at 837 Industrial Blvd. The work shall replace the existing lighting system with energy-efficient LED fixtures, maintaining or improving current light levels while reducing energy consumption and maintenance requirements. Remove Existing Fixtures: - Safely remove existing lighting fixtures and related components as necessary. - Properly dispose of all removed equipment in accordance with local regulations. 2. Provide and Install LED Fixtures (minimum specifications): - Fixture Type: Outdoor-rated LED sports lighting fixture, designed for pickleball/tennis court applications. - Mounting Height: desired 8-10 ft lower than existing height. (verify on site) - Light Level Requirement: Minimum average 50 foot-candles on all playing surfaces, with uniformity ratio not exceeding 1.5:1. - Lumen Output: >= 40,000 lumens per fixture (final fixture count based on photometric design). - Wattage: <= 350 watts per fixture. - Color Temperature: 5000k-6500 natural light. - CRI: >= 70. - IP Rating: IP65 or higher. - Surge Protection: Minimum 10kV. - Expected Lifespan: L70 at 100,000 hours or better. - Warranty: Minimum 5-year manufacturer's warranty (parts & labor). - Glare & Spill Control: Include visors/shields to minimize light trespass. 3. Electrical & Control Work: - Provide all necessary wiring, connections, and hardware for a complete, operational system. - Install control system per City requirements (programmable timer)- Ensure compatibility with existing electrical service unless otherwise directed. 4.
