Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Beverly Hills, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a data center facility; and fire / police facility.

The qualified contractors will be bidding on two separate projects which will not be concurrent. Project 1: Police Facility- EOC UPS 1) Involves replacement of low voltage transformer primary and secondary fused disconnects with adjustable enclosed breakers. 2) Furnish and install a new dedicated UPS with bypass. Project 2: Data Center The project consists of three parts: Part 1 entails the purchase, installation, pre-wiring programming, and load testing of the new 480V 150kW Frame UPS; Part 2 includes the planned Data Center outage to complete the permanent source breaker, conduit, and wiring connections of the new UPS and restoration of the Data Center loads supplied from the new UPS; Part 3 consists of the removal of the existing UPS and other activity to leave the Data Center in the final configuration.
