Project Description: The project includes the resurfacing of existing asphalt paving and new asphalt paving at three (3) BREC park locations: o Howell Community Park (5509 Winborne Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA 70805) o Anna T. Jordan Community Park (1750 Stilt Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70807) o Lovett Road Park (13443 Lovett Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70818) The work will include mill and overlay, pavement removal and full depth reconstruction, concrete curb and gutter repair and replacement, pipe parking rail relocations, parking and crosswalk striping and site improvements required asphalt paving work. Bid form blanks must be duly filled in by the Bidder. Bidders are cautioned not to attach any conditions or provisions to their proposals. Any foreign conditions will render the proposal invalid and may cause its rejection. A Certified Check or Cashier's Check, payable to the Recreation and Park Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge or a satisfactory Bid Bond, in compliance with LSA-R.S. 38:2218.A&C, executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid, shall be submitted with each paper bid.
