Manchester Maintenance Section - Addition and Roof Replacement The following is a general description of the work to be done under this Contract. This list is intended to give the Contractor a general description of the work involved in this Contract and is not a complete listing of all work to be done. All work shall be done in accordance with the Contract Documents even though not specifically mentioned in this list. The scope of the work is twofold. First, an addition to the existing Manchester maintenance section building will be constructed. This addition will have an expanded locker room, cafeteria, and restrooms in order to better accommodate the building's employees. Second, a new EPDM roof will be provided to the Manchester maintenance section building. The existing roof is in poor condition and needs to be replaced. The act of replacing this roof will also involve asbestos abatement, concrete deck repair, and selected structure demolition. Your bid must be secured with either a Bid Bond or a Bid Deposit. A Bid Bond must be in the amount of 5% of the total bid and must be on the Authority's Bid Bond Form (TA-44117) which is included in the Proposal. A Bid Deposit must be a certified check or cashier's check made payable to the New York State Thruway Authority in the amount of $75,000.00.
