Sealed proposals for the construction, including the supply of necessary labor, equipment, and material for the rural electric project The Project will consist of furnishing labor, material, and equipment for the construction of one 7.5 MVA substation that includes high voltage tubular steel dead end designed for 69 KV, 15 KV tubular steel structures, and associated equipment and material for substation power delivery. Commencement may begin on or before October 27, 2025 and must be completed by May 29, 2026. The project is located in Rock County in the State of Nebraska, approximately eight miles south of the town of Bassett, NE. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in form attached or a certified check of a bank that is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, payable to the order of the Owner, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the maximum bid price. The Owner will award the contract to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest and best proposal or, at its sole discretion, may reject any or all proposals. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond with sureties listed by the United States Treasury Department as Acceptable Sureties, in a penal sum not less than the total contract price
