Messer Construction is excited to announce the start of the pre-qualification process for first tier trade and specialty contractors interested in bidding the Charlotte Douglas International Airport FIS Recheck Reconfiguration (reference NC GS 143-128.1, -129, 135.8 for pre-qualification details). The general scope of this project includes modifications and reconfiguration of the existing FIS Recheck Baggage handling system. All contractor prequalification forms are due into Messer Construction by 5:00 pm on September 5th, 2025. Bidders must meet this deadline to be considered for approval to bid on this project. The target bid date is late September 2025, with construction starting in late Q2 Spring 2026. Bids from contractors that are not prequalified will not be opened and will be rejected.
