Fire Station No. 4 Roof Replacement The City of Davenport is accepting bids for the Fire Station No. 4 Roof Replacement project. The work shall include but not be limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment for the demolition and replacement of the existing roof, maintenance of masonry, fully adhered EPDM, wood blocking, curbing, sheet metal flashing and trim, roof drain replacement and other related roofing and accessories. Liquidated Damages - Liquidated damages shall be $500.00 per day For all bids over $100,000, the City of Davenport requires a Bid Bond of 5% of the bid amount. A copy of the front page of the bid bond must be attached in the "Response Attachments" tab of the bid package. Bids over $100,000, submitted without a bid bond will not be considered. Question Deadline 09/08/2025 at 10:00 AM CT Question Cut Off Date Working Days - The contract time shall be per SUDAS Section 1080-1.02, A.1, Completion Date Contracts. The Contractor shall complete all work, including final cleanup and removal of all equipment for the bid by December 1, 2025, unless modified by Change Order. For awarded bids over $100,000, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, and said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and irregularities, if it is deemed in the public interest to do so.
