Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wilson, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This project involves the complete paving and rehabilitation of the parking lot at the Wilson County Agriculture Center. The scope of work includes removal of the existing deteriorated asphalt surface, regrading and preparation of the base where needed, and installation of new asphalt pavement. The project will also include restriping of parking spaces, improvements to drainage systems as needed, and compliance with ADA accessibility standards. The new pavement will provide a durable, safe, and functional surface for daily operations, public events, and educational programs hosted at the facility. As of Aug 28, 2025, this project is included in the County 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
