Safe Pedestrian Intersection Prioritization for Enhanced Road Safety Plan COMPASS is seeking a consultant to support the development of a system-wide prioritized deployment plan for leading pedestrian intervals (LPIs), accessible pedestrian signals (APS), and other low-cost systemic operational improvements at signalized intersections to enhance the safety of vulnerable road users within Ada and Canyon Counties, Idaho. This initiative aligns with COMPASS' Regional Safety Action Plan (RSAP), which includes an emphasis on addressing the disproportionate impact of crashes on pedestrians, bicyclists, and non-motor-vehicle road users. COMPASS reserves the right to reject any or all proposals not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Request for Proposal when such action appears to be in the best interests of COMPASS.
