The Work consists of constructing up to 14 miles of waterline replacement, addition of water meter pits, water service line replacements, and associated surface restoration within the City of American Falls. All communications relative to this work shall be directed to the ENGINEER (Sydney Burtenshaw-Lowe, Keller Associates, 208-542-6120) prior to the opening of the Bid Proposals. Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified cashier's check or a corporate bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the City of American Falls in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of not less than 100% of the contract price. Absent an approved waiver, all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project must be produced in the United States, as further outlined by the Office of Management and Budget's Memorandum M-22-11, Initial Implementation Guidance on Application of Buy America Preference in Federal Financial Assistance Programs for Infrastructure, April 18, 2022. Bidder will be required to meet Davis-Bacon wage requirement. Each Bidder must have a Public Works Contractors license in the State of Idaho prior to bid opening in accordance with Idaho law. The City of American Falls reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of American Falls.
