Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check or acceptable Bid Bond payable to Ouachita Parish Police Jury in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount as a guarantee that, if awarded the Contract, the Bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute such bonds as may be required. Each bid shall also be accompanied by a Corporate Resolution or written evidence of the authority of the person signing the bid for the public work as prescribed by LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5).
