The School District of Jenkintown 2025 Sidewalk Replacement Project The project involves the replacement of existing concrete sidewalk and an existing concrete driveway apron. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of The School District of Jenkintown, or a Bid Bond in favor of The School District of Jenkintown in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The School District of Jenkintown reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities. All questions about the meaning or intent of the bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing via email. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda and emailed to all parties as having received the Bidding Documents. Question Deadline 09/05/2025 SCOPE OF WORK A. Work of the two contracts comprises the entire project for the construction of the 2025 Sidewalk Replacement Project for the School District of Jenkintown, hereafter referred to as "OWNER". B. The intent and meaning of the Contract Documents require that you, the CONTRACTOR, under the terms of the Contract, take such action as necessary or required to provide labor, plant materials, equipment, transportation, facilities and appurtenances thereto, which are indicated, or reasonably implied by each Section of the Specifications, all of which are collectively necessary and required for the execution of the Work. 1.03 GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. The Work of this Project is the replacement of approximately 1,9000 SF of concrete sidewalk, 400 SF of driveway apron, and 41 LF of depressed curb. The contract that comprise this Project is identified as follows: 1. Contract #1, General Construction B. As stated under the Advertisement for Bids. Perform work of the Contract under a stipulated sum contract with the OWNER. 1. The OWNER will award one contract, which will commence within ninety (90) days. A general outline of the Work under Contracts #1 is given in Paragraphs 1.04. 2. The given general outline does not in any way limit the responsibility of the CONTRACTOR to perform all work and furnish the required materials, equipment and labor as shown or required by the Contract Documents.3. Provide completely and in full all materials, equipment, and labor obviously a part of the work and necessary for the proper operation and installation of same, although not specifically indicated on the Contract Documents as if called for in detail, without additional cost to the OWNER
