Contract #2 - Collection System Upgrades Wastewater System Renovations The Project includes the following Work: Contract #2: Collection System Improvements including upgrades to the Waverly Vacuum Station, five (5) pump stations, 15 manholes, 118 vacuum valve pits,stream bank restoration, the construction of a new storage building, and related appurtenances. Rerouting an existing portion of force main and electrical service via the installation of approximately 1,200 LF of 2" PVC force main and 1,200 LF of 2" electrical conduit, tie-ins to the existing pump station's discharge piping and an existing 10" force main including all necessary valves and fittings, electrical tie-ins to a new service drop and existing pump station control panel, and all necessary appurtenances for a complete and operational system. Contract Times (Calendar Days) Substantial / Final Payment: 180 / 210 The Work will be substantially completed and ready for final payment after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as listed above. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000 per day for Contract 1 and Contract 2. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Union Williams Public Service District in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. The Union Williams Public Service District reserves the right to reject any and all bids. QA date - 9-18-2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
