Site work for a water / sewer project in Adrian, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work for which proposals are invited consists of furnishing labor, equipment, personnel and materials for sewer CIPP lining and manhole rehabilitation work. The work will be conducted in publicly owned streets and rights of way. Work shall commence after approval by the City Commission and signed Professional Services Contracts are on file with the City Clerk. All proposals must contain the name of the person interested therein and shall be accompanied by either a bid bond in the amount of 5% of bid or by a certified or cashier's check as a guarantee to the City that if the bid is accepted, contract will be entered into and the performance properly secured. A performance bond, maintenance guarantee bond, and labour/materials bond for 100% of the amount of the Contract will be required. Bidders, or their authorized agents, are invited to be present at the opening of the proposals. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least sixty (60) days. The City of Adrian reserves the right to perform all, none, or any combination of the proposed work. The City of Adrian reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technical defects and informalities as the interest of the City may require.
