This project includes the installation of a new standby generator with associated infrastructure at the Anderson Library. In addition, a ground mount photovoltaic system will be installed. All construction shall be completed as detailed on the plans and in the specifications. Contractor shall possess a Class A or C-10 license at the time bid is opened. Any such explanations or interpretations will be made in the form of Addenda to the documents and will be furnished to all listed planholders. Bidders shall acknowledge receipt via email at constructionbids@cityofredding.org of all Addenda posted on the City's website prior to bid opening. Each bid shall be made in accordance with the specifications and proposal requirements thereof. No bid will be received unless it is made on a proposal form furnished by the City Engineer. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, certified or cashier's check, or original bidder's bond made payable to the City of Redding for an amount equal to at least 10% of the total amount of the bid as a guarantee that the contractor will execute the contract in conformance with his proposal and the specifications.
