BC Timber Sales has legal obligations to maintain access infrastructure to meet all FRPA and SAFETY (WCB/BC Safe Company) requirements. The East Kootenay Field Team (EKFT) manages hundreds of km's of resource roads annually. BCTS will work with the Contractor to ensure that road maintenance standards are achieved. This is a solicitation for Right-of-Way Mechanical Brushing, with rates set by the brushing difficulty level, per kilometer. Roadside mechanical brushing of approximately 21.2 km of BCTS Forest Service Road. Works require re-establishment of the original right-of-way boundaries. The objective is to optimize the driving visibility and safety of each road section that forms this contract. The brushing has been classed as approximately 2.2 km of Light, 10.1 km of Moderate, 8.9 km of Heavy brushing.
