Site work for a mixed-use development in Greensboro, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development; and water / sewer project.
The project is awarded but the awarded contractor is not available. The City of Greensboro, Georgia (hereinafter referred to as "the City"), is soliciting qualifications and proposals from experienced and qualified general contractors to provide comprehensive site infrastructure construction services related to the Baynes Creek Residential Subdivision This RFQ/P is issued as part of the City's initiative to deliver critical infrastructure improvements required for the successful development of this new residential subdivision. The selected General Contractor will collaborate with the City and its project partners, including Habitat for Humanity, to manage all aspects of construction delivery for this initiative. PROJECT OVERVIEW The Baynes Creek Residential Subdivision (Phase I) is a 36-lot single-family residential development covering approximately 25 disturbed acres. The site will require clearing, grading, utility installation, stormwater systems, roadway construction, erosion control measures, and coordination with all applicable regulatory bodies and utility providers. The selected General Contractor will be responsible for: o Site grading and installation of storm drainage infrastructure per approved plans; o Roadway construction and utilities (water, storm sewer, sanitary sewer); o Construction of stormwater detention systems; o Erosion and sediment control per NPDES regulations; o Coordination with state and local regulatory agencies, including all requirements required by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, Rural Workforce Housing Initiative; o Project closeout and warranty services.
