As of October 21, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Bid Security in the amount of five (5%) percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids; to waive irregularities in the Bids; to award bids based on individual items, groups of items, or on the entire list of items; and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the City. All questions will be answered by issue of an addendum. The cutoff time for all questions is 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday September 2, 2025. Any questions submitted after this time may be unanswered. There will be no Prebid conference. Access to the site should be coordinated through the City Golf Course Management Staff. The work is for raw water transfer pump and control panel replacement for the City of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This work includes, but is not limited to: 1. Demolition and removal of existing pump, control panel and pedestal. 2. Installation of two new comparable pumps (primary and back up) with appropriate controls. 3. All other items such as mounting pedestal valves and connections to the existing suction and discharge lines as required for a complete, functional installation. All questions about the meanings or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date of opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. The Project has been designed by LDA Engineering who is hereinafter called ENGINEER and who is to act as OWNER's representative, assume all duties and responsibilities, and have the rights and authority assigned to ENGINEER in the Contract Documents in connection with the completion of the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents.
