Cobb County ("County" or "Owner") is issuing this solicitation for Turf Management Lawn Care Services. Question Submission Deadline: September 2, 2025, 5:00pm All questions must be submitted through Online. Bids received after the date and time indicated will not be considered. Cobb County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, to reject portions of the bid, to waive technicalities and to award contracts in a manner consistent with the county and the laws governing the State of Georgia. This offer shall remain open for acceptance for a period of 60 calendar days from the bid opening date, as set forth in this invitation to bid unless otherwise specified in the bid documents. The Cobb County PARKS Department is soliciting bids from qualified vendors for an annual contract for Turf Management Lawn Care Services per the specifications contained herein. Vendors shall submit a per acre price on the Bid Form. No minimum or maximum quantities shall be specified. Prior to application, confirmation must be given by Cobb County staff at least one (1) day before the scheduled application. After each application, a copy of a material application form must be left on site and a copy emailed to james.temple@cobbcounty.org for record keeping, in case of emergency. The form must be in compliance with the State of Georgia's pesticide application rules and regulations. Summer weed control shall include the control of Dallas Grass through Post and Pre-Emergent applications. Fall weed control shall include control of Poa Annua through Post and Pre-Emergent applications. Vendor must provide a list of at least five (5) Parks and Recreation references, with the same scope and a minimum of five (5) years on the properties, with their bid response. Vendor must have the same applicator for all properties and applicators must be licensed. Vendor must provide free service calls within 48 hours. Contract awarded as a result of bids submitted under this Sealed Bid shall extend from the date of award for a period of 12 full months. Contract is renewable, at the option of Cobb County Government, and upon written agreement by the vendor. However, the total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options, shall not exceed three (3) years (basic year and two (2) one (1) year options).
