Project Scope NOTE: It is the responsibility of the contractor to apply for a project permit and ensure the project is fully permitted. The contractor is also responsible for updated drawings (as-builts) at the end of the project. The project scope includes the installation of seven (7) water hose bibbs and one (1) sink. At one location (shade structure), minor excavation is required to access the water line under asphalt. The following clarifies the scope and locations (per drawing): Modular 1 - Install hose bibb: Shut off power to the water heater, then shut off water to the modular. Access the cold-water line from underneath the modular and route a new hose bibb through the exterior wall. Turn on the water and check for leaks and functionality. Modular 2 - Install hose bibb: Shut off power to the water heater, then shut off water to the modular. Access the cold-water line from either the bathrooms or underneath the modular and route a new hose bibb through the exterior wall. Turn on the water and check for leaks and functionality. Modular 3 & 4 - Install hose bibbs: Shut off power to the water heater and shut off water to the modular. Access the cold-water line from underneath and route a new hose bibb line approx. 36' to the backside (north) of the modular building. Route another line from the same access point approx. 60' for a hose bibb at the front right corner of modular #4, exterior wall. Turn on the water and check for leaks and functionality. Modular 5 - Install hose bibb: Turn off power to the water heater, then shut off water and drain down the system. Tie into the 1-1/2" copper water line underneath the modular and plumb out for a new hose bibb, including a 1-1/2" ball valve before the hose bibb tie-in, per code requirements. Turn on the water and check for leaks and functionality. Modular 7 - Install hose bibb: Shut off power to the water heater, then shut off water to the modular or facility. Access the cold-water line from underneath and route a new upsized water line and hose bibb through the exterior wall. Turn on the water and check for leaks and functionality. Modular 8 - Install sink and hose bibb: Turn off power to the water heater, shut off water to the modular, and drain down the system. Cut into the 2" copper water main underneath to route a cold-water line for the sink and hose bibb. Cut into the hot water line underneath the modular (bathroom) and route hot water to the sink location. Mount the stainless-steel sink on the south-facing wall, next to the stairs. Route all water and drain lines. Tie the drain line into the existing drain with proper grade underneath the modular. Route the drain vent exposed along the wall, strapped and painted per code requirements. Install hose bibb. Shade Structure - Install hose bibb: Cut a section of asphalt and excavate from the water line to the pole. Install a new tap on the water main and run piping to the existing pole, then install hose bibb. Provide safety material around piping and protrusions to prevent tripping hazards. All work, including backfill and asphalt, shall be code compliant. The contractor shall provide all incidental materials and supplies necessary to complete the work, including but not limited to fasteners, screws, piping, caulking, and safety equipment.
