This project involves the relocation of two existing water hoses and reels within the wash bay area and connecting an additional two(2) 50ft water hose(water jetting) for power washing the Vactor trucks). The relocation will place each hose reel on opposite sides of the retaining wall to improve accessibility, user safety, and operational efficiency. Protective metal/iron faceplates will be installed between the reels and the wall to minimize wear and protect the retaining wall surface. Bid contents, including requisite declarations and forms to be signed and included in the Bid, A City permit must be obtained (if required) and necessary as-built drawings are required at the end of the project. Disconnect and remove the two existing hose reels from their current mounting locations. Prepare new mounting points on either side of the retaining wall, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with safety standards. Install metal/iron faceplates at each new mounting point to protect the retaining wall surface. Relocate and securely mount both hose reels onto the faceplates. Extend, reroute, or adjust water supply piping as necessary to accommodate the new locations. Install additional two(2) 50ft water hose(water jetting) for power washing the Vactor trucks) Test both hose reels for proper water flow, pressure, and ease of operation. Restore any disturbed surfaces and ensure the wash bay is left in clean and safe condition. Contractor Registration.
