The city of port Huene me, department of public works, is seeking proposals from interested and qualified tank coating inspection firms to provide professional services for the coating inspection services during the phwa tank rehabilitation project. This request for proposal (rfp) is being released to solicit for and select from interested and qualified firms to enter into contractual relationships with the city of port Huene me department of public works to provide those services as requested for 260 days. Services typically include but are not limited to (1) providing a quality assurance and coating inspection,(2) monitoring construction progress, (3) attending meetings with the project manager, water division staff, and contractor, (4) providing and maintaining daily and monthly inspection reports of the contractor’s personnel, materials, and equipment working at the job site; (5) providing quality assurance in achieving conformance with the contract plans and specifications; (6) providing safety/structural inspection by performing visual inspection of welds, including reinspection after repair of defective joints; (7) check modifications are completed in compliance with awwa, cal/osha, and swrcb regulations. (8) other related miscellaneous services during surface preparation, coating preparation and mixing, coating application, dry film thickness, and final cure evaluation.
