Renovation of a military facility in Oxnard, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The contractor shall replace failed HVAC systems and install new air conditioning units across three buildings at Station Channel Islands Harbor: the 8,672 square foot Main Station Building, the 2,358 square foot Maintenance Shop, and the 1,336 square foot South Building. Tasks include adding air conditioning to three existing forced air furnace systems in the Main Station Building, removing and replacing a 5-ton rooftop unit and a 150,000 BTU/hr natural gas furnace in the Maintenance Shop, and installing split unit systems for heating and cooling in both the office (450 SF) and workshop (840 SF) areas of the South Building. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, daily cleanup, and final restoration of the work areas. All waste and old HVAC equipment must be disposed of in accordance with environmental regulations. Work must be performed between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, unless otherwise authorized. Location: USCG Station Channel Islands Harbor, 4201 Victoria Avenue, Oxnard, CA 93035-4397. As required by FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
