Work consists of milling approximately 49,409 S.Y. of roadway, placement of approximately 4,150 tons of hot mix asphalt, and related work to include replacing worn castings and structure adjusting. Bid Security from the Contractor in the form of cash, certified check, treasurer's check, or cashier's check, drawn upon a responsible bank in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, or a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be made payable to the City of Greenfield, Massachusetts and shall be enclosed with the bid. Work consists of milling approximately 43,106 S.Y. of roadway, placement of approximately 3,621 tons of hot mix asphalt, and related work to include replacing worn castings and structure adjusting . The City of Greenfield reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding, if it be in the public interest to do so.
