Renovation of a multi-residential development in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 8,326-square-foot, 55-room multi-residential development.
This project involves comprehensive interior and exterior improvements to a two-building facility comprising 55 single-room occupancy (SRO) apartments. Alternate No. 1 Removal and replacement of resilient flooring and wall base inside apartments. (Base Bid includes flooring work in common areas.) Alternate No. 2 Removal of existing light fixtures in units, and replacement with Energy Star rated fixtures. (Base Bid: Existing fixtures to remain.) The project consists of interior and exterior renovations to an existing historical building. All work shall retain and/or match this historical character of the building. The project shall include, but is not limited to selective demolition, new roofing, exterior wood repair and repainting, masonry repointing, door and window replacement, flooring removal and replacement, and the removal and replacement of an existing elevator. Project Location: 132 Main St Greenfield, MA 01301 All bidders must be properly licensed and capable of providing required insurance, performance bonds, and payment bonds The project is subject to MBE/WBE participation and Section 3 Requirements. A bid deposit equal to 5% of the total bid amount is required. Bids must remain valid for 120 days following submission. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner . The estimated construction cost is $4,115,000 The anticipated start date of construction shall be on or around April 1, 2026.
