Project has been rebid The Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC) is requesting Phase 500, 600, and 700 Engineering/Architectural/Construction Administration Services for two (2) separate projects. The Professional Services contract will be held under contract . The projects include replacement of the warehouse cooler / freezer which includes structural repairs and roof replacements, on two buildings within the facility. Bidding Plans will be advertised under DTMB for the cooler freezer project and 472/25266.JBB for the roofing project. Detailed information on the desired scopes is listed below: PROJECT SCOPE: o Warehouse Cooler/Freezer Replacement - Phases 500, 600, and 700 - The existing cooler/freezer has been in service for 35 years and has reached its lifespan. The mechanical equipment is outdated, and replacement parts are unattainable. The facility would prefer to modify the existing cooler/freezer location to have the cooler next to the freezer and create an office area in the existing cooler area. o Roof Replacement - Phases 500, 600, and 700 - The roofs on the Spruce Housing Unit and the 300 Building are beyond their lifespan and need replacement. There is active leaking in both buildings. The current roofs are EPDM and replacement with EPDM is requested but a fleece back option may be considered if the PSC feels it is appropriate, and the agency concurs.
