Renovation of a municipal facility in Auburn, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
BPW Office Window Replacement The Board of Public Works reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bids submitted and is not subject to awarding bid based upon the low bid if it so choses. The work to be performed under the provisions of these contract documents consists of furnishing all material, equipment, supplies and appurtenances; providing all equipment, tools; performing all necessary labor and supervision; and the construction complete, including all work appurtenant there for the REPLACEMENT OF THREE WINDOWS at the BPW OFFICE. DEMOLITION Remove existing windows and trim, salvage trim for reuse. CONSTRUCTION Contractor will replace existing windows on the north wall with new windows per specs. Finish/Patch any open walls exterior and interior to match existing walls. Finish/Patch will finish inside area with drywall and use cement siding for finish on exterior. Replace all wall wood trim that was removed. Install new wood trim in areas affected by construction. Trim will need to match existing trim. WORK SITE Contractor will ensure work will not leave the office unsecure during non-office hours. Contractor will be required to maintain a clean work site. Remove all construction material daily. Contractor will coordinate work to minimize interruption of daily office work. Contractor may need to install barrier to separate work area from office area to keep dust from interfering with computers and other electronic office equipment. All materials removed disposed by contractor.
