Conway Park Streambank Restoration - Phase 1. A. Work Included: This project consists of Phase 1 of the overall improvements project of the streambank located at Conway Park in Darby Township Delaware County, PA. Please note that this phase only includes the grading and restoration of certain portions of the streambank as Phase 2 consists of the landscaping work. All work herein specified and on project drawings shall include, but is not limited to all labor, materials, equipment, access roads, landscaping, traffic controls, erosion control measures, signage, and any incidental items thereto as specified in the contract documents and as shown on the drawings. B. All areas disturbed during construction shall be restored to its original condition or better. The Contractor shall be responsible to replace any curb, sidewalk, signage, etc. per the project plans and contract documents. No additional monies will be given to the Contractor to restore the site. All pavement restoration areas shall be neat, straight, joint lines, if applicable. Narrow asphalt strips (less than 2 feet wide) between curb and trench will not be acceptable. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Davis-Bacon Wage Rates, various insurance requirements, Public Works Employment Verification, various equal opportunity provisions, the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price.
