Neither a bid nor a performance bond or surety is required pursuant to this RFP Question Deadline 10/03/2025 All questions regarding interpretation of this RFP, technical or otherwise, must be submitted in writing to the following: By E Mail: sharon.samuels@fmpa.com By Fax: Ms. Sharon Samuels (407) 355 - 5796 By Mail or Courier: Ms. Sharon Samuels Florida Municipal Power Agency 8553 Commodity Circle Orlando, Florida 32819 Notice of Award (Estimated date) November 14, 2025 Scope of Work Vendor shall provide a complete itemized turnkey all-in firm quote for material, labor & supervision, equipment, permits and documentation (including a detailed Gantt-chart work breakdown structure) to repair the basin. The tasks responsible of the vendor are as follows: o Clean and dry the basin areas for repair in an environmentally friendly manner o Remove and dispose of all existing basin joint membrane material(s) o Prepare joints for replacement - Mechanically clean all seams and adjacent surfaces to remove dirt, debris, old sealant, loose concrete, and biological growth. Pressure wash the seams and cracks with a minimum of 3,500 PSI. Allow to dry thoroughly before recaulking. o Replace all joints - Install appropriate closed-cell backer rod where required. Apply specified joint sealant to all seams in accordance with the manufacturer's installation guidelines. Tool and finish joints for proper adhesion and appearance. o Repair all cracks in basin floor - Inspect and map all visible cracks in the basin structure. For minor surface cracks (<1/16"), apply penetrating crack sealer. For structural or active cracks: Chase cracks to appropriate width and depth (1/4" x 1/4" minimum). Clean and prep the area. Fill with epoxy or polyurethane crack injection material or patching mortar as per severity and location. o Conduct quality assurance (QA) with the FMPA Project & Plant Manager by means of standing water in the basin for signs of air bubbling, level drop, sweating/seepage, etc., with adequate time to address any quality issues within the allotted outage availability window o Clean up of activity area - Remove all construction debris, tools, and excess materials from site. o Submit completion report with photos, material data sheets and warranty information.
