White Oak Rd Roadway Rehabilitation This Bid is project-based and consists of furnishing all materials, supplies, tools, equipment, supervision, and labor necessary to complete White Oak Rd Roadway Rehabilitation. The City of Orange reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bids received, and to accept the bid most advantageous to the City. Question Deadline 09/12/2025 at 12:00 PM CT - Every request for such interpretation must be in writing and addressed by email to Elisha Askari at easkari@orangetexas.gov. No additional information will be given in person or over the phone. Questions will be collected, and answers will be provided as a written Addendum or Clarification Statement by 5:00 P.M. Friday, September 12th, 2025, by email. No telephone inquiries will be accepted or answered in relation to the Bid. The project must be completed within sixty (60) calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages of $2,000 per calendar day will apply for each day beyond the completion time allowed. Scope:- For materials, equipment, and labor to reclaim/resurface approximately 10,500 S.Y. of existing roadway. Contractor shall be responsible for the following: o Mobilization o Communication with City and Public Notification in construction zone area o Traffic control, construction signs, barricades, damage to vehicles during construction, etc. o Correspondence with the public for removal of vehicles parked on the roadway within project limits. o Removal of all debris and cleaning of worksite prior to beginning construction o Furnishing of all materials and labor to prepare existing roadbeds for new overlay, including reclamation (BOMAG) of existing roadway using 4% cement slurry at a depth of 8 inches. o Soft spots will be required to be excavated and replaced with TXDOT 610 base material. o Application 2" Ty D PG 64-22 Asphalt in accordance with Item 341 Dense-GradedHot-Mix Asphalt in the 2024 Edition of the "Texas Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction and Maintenance of Highways, Streets, and Bridges" o 6-inch dia. x 40 L.F. water service line to be pvc pipe and shall conform to AWWAC-900, Class 150. o Fittings shall be ductile iron and conform to AWWAC-110 or AWWAC-153 and be epoxy coated. o Pressure rating of valves, fittings and appurtenances shall be equal to or exceed pressure rating of adjacent water pipeline. o Provide adequate thrust blocking where required and as shown on drawings. o Pressure testing and sterilization of water mains shall be performed. o 2-inch diameter flush out fitting. o Implementation of QA/QC measures at every stage of rehabilitation process.
