Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Decatur, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This project consists of the installation of a pedestrian hybrid beacon and crosswalk across North Decatur Road and installation of two school zone flashing beacons. Associated ramp work has already been completed by others. The cost of removal of the existing crosswalk, existing crosswalk signage, and the existing school flashing beacons shall be included in the item for Grading Complete. Question Deadline date changed from 10/02/2025 to 10/16/2025 as per Addendum 2 THE COUNTY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS, TO WAIVE INFORMALITIES IN BIDDING, AND TO RE-ADVERTISE. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid. The Bid Guarantee may be in the form of an official bank check payable to DeKalb County, or a Bid Bond in the form provided in the Bid Document Package. Prior to beginning construction, the successful Bidder will file with the County a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the Contract Price, with the terms and surety to be approved by the County; and furnish satisfactory proof of carriage of the insurance required.
