The contractor shall provide, unpack, and deliver in-place two enclosed diesel-powered portable skid-mounted generator sets with power cable connections. Prior to delivery, the contractor shall remove and dispose of two currently installed 50kW generators. Delivery, installation, connection, and operational testing of the new generators must be coordinated with the Government Point of Contact. The contractor shall submit detailed specifications and OEM-recommended maintenance plans for the proposed generators and provide 12 months of on-site OEM maintenance following installation and successful testing, with the option to extend for an additional 12 months. Each generator shall be rated at 50kW, three-phase, four-wire, 480 VAC line voltage, 277 VAC phase voltage, with a continuous power factor of 0.8. The generators must be capable of starting a 7.5 horsepower three-phase sewage lift pump motor directly across the line without unacceptable voltage drop. The contractor may recommend a lower rating to avoid wet-stacking during low-load conditions. Generators must support auto-start via an automatic transfer switch for future capability and include compatible power cables of at least 20 feet in length. Equipment must be suitable for all-season outdoor use in a saltwater-adjacent environment, with lockable enclosures and drainage. Generators must perform reliably under transient loading and phase imbalance conditions and have fuel tank capacity for at least 12 hours of continuous full-rate operation. Monthly maintenance shall include operational checks, fluid level checks and top-offs, and an annual oil change. The contractor is responsible for all consumables and proper waste disposal. Installation includes delivery, placement on concrete pads, electrical connections, fluid checks, and fuel fill. Operational testing will be conducted with the Government POC, including initial operator training and provision of three operation manuals.
