Equipment must be of acceptable size and design in the opinion of the Owner to accomplish operations in a reasonable and efficient time interval. The selected operator will be responsible for the work listed below. The Operator will be paid for work once completed. Payment will be based on the unit cost stated on the Bid Lines Tab. Operator(s) shall supply all equipment, labor, fuel, and supplies to complete custom operations at the Iowa State University McNay Memorial Research Farm. Materials: All materials shall be new and installed in accordance with the Scope of Work, figures or drawings, and the procedures established by the material manufacturer. Installation: Provide a Contractor's 1-year guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. 2. Summary of Work: Work shall include the installation of plastic drainage pipe to drain approximately 55 acres of farmland. The work will include drainage laterals, sub-main tiles, and main tiles. Preliminary tile design as shown under the Attachments Tab. The successful bidder shall assist with the final tile design. The timeline is approximately October 15, 2025, or when the field is harvested, through March 30, 2026. ISU would prefer to have completed in the fall of 2025, if possible.
