17728.20.IAM The extent of work on this project is the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of the improvements, which consist of three independent sections of work. Section 1 includes: 1. Installation of approximately 3,400 linear feet of new 12" diameter water main, fittings, valves, hydrants, services, and related appurtenances; 2. Installation of approximately 120 linear feet of new 4", 6", 8", and 10" diameter water mains, fittings, valves, hydrants, services, and related appurtenances; 3. Installation of approximately 125 linear feet of new 12" diameter water main installed in an 18" diameter casing pipe using trenchless construction methods; 4. Approximately 580 square yards of PCC and HMA pavement removal and replacement; 5. Approximately 520 square yards of driveway removal and replacement; 6. Reconstruction of approximately 525 square yards of sidewalk and ADA-compliant curb ramps with detectable warning panels; 7. Site dewatering as required for construction, erosion control, site restoration and seeding, field testing; and 8. All other work as required by the contract documents. Section 2 includes: 1. Installation of approximately 3,600 linear feet of new 12" diameter water main, fittings, valves, hydrants, services and related appurtenances; 2. Installation of approximately 900 linear feet of new 8" diameter water main, fittings, valves, hydrants, services and related appurtenances; 3. Installation of approximately 300 linear feet of new 4" and 6" diameter water mains, fittings, valves, hydrants, services, and related appurtenances; 4. Approximately 630 square yards of PCC and HMA pavement removal and replacement; 5. Approximately 225 square yards of driveway removal and replacement; 6. Section 1 is generally along N 8th Street, ranging from Ashland Avenue south to Roland Avenue, Roland Avenue east to N 6th Street, and N 6th Street south. Section 2 generally begins at Lucas Avenue and N 16th Street, ranging north to Ilion Avenue, east to 1020 Ilion Avenue, south to Lucas Avenue and N 11th Street, and south to Ashland Avenue. Section 3 consists of a portion parallel to the BNSF Railroad between Lucas Avenue and Ashland Avenue; a portion generally beginning at N 11th Street and Auburn Avenue, east along Auburn Avenue to 1017 Auburn Avenue, then south along an alleyway to approximately 217 N Main Street; and lastly, a portion beginning at Chariton City Hall, east through alleyways to approximately 918 Court Avenue.
