The Town of Palm Beach, Florida ("The Town") is hereby requesting qualified firms to submit competitive bids to provide a full-service term contract for preventative maintenance, repairs and inspection to four (4) - 3-stop hydraulic elevators, one (1) 2-stop hydraulic elevator in five (5) Town owned buildings. The vendor shall utilize the latest edition of ASME A 17.1 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators, A 17.2 Inspectors guide for Elevator and Escalators and A 17.3 Safety Code for Existing Elevators and Escalators including any supplements of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). The successful proposers shall provide professional service inclusive of all certified manpower, supplies, equipment, tools, parts, materials, lubricants, labor supervision, licenses, travel and any/all incidental expenses incurred in the performance of this contract necessary to provide full preventative maintenance, adjustments, replacement and repair service for the elevators, and associated equipment as listed. AWARD: Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth in this Invitation to Bid. The Town reserves the right to award to that bidder who will best serve the interests of the Town, and to accept or reject any and/or all bids and to award or not award a contract based on this bid proposal. The Town reserves the right to award on an all-or-none basis or on a line-by-line basis. Prices quoted must be valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the close of the bid. TERM: The duration of the contract based on this invitation to bid shall be for a period of one (1) year with four (4) optional one-year periods, based on satisfactory performance, budget authorization and mutual agreement, for a maximum contract duration of five (5) years.
