Description: Georgetown County, SC is soliciting requests for qualifications from engineering firms interested in contracting with the County to provide professional Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit Support and Stormwater Engineering & Consulting Services. Pre-Bid Conference & Site Inspection: [None] This solicitation does not commit Georgetown County to award a contract, to pay any cost incurred in the preparation of the bid, or to procure or contract for goods or services. It is the responsibility of each bidder to see that they submit their bids on or before, the date and time specified for the bid opening. No bid will be accepted thereafter. Georgetown County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities and technicalities in the bid process. The Georgetown County, SC Public Services Department, Stormwater Division, is soliciting Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) from engineering firms interested in contracting with the County to provide professional Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit Support and Stormwater Engineering & Consulting Services. Firms are expected to demonstrate experience in the County's Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit Requirements, the County's MS4 Program, to include but not limited to experience with site plan review, specifically stormwater modeling, Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) watersheds, experience with developing a TMDL monitoring plan, developing Best Management Practices (BMPs) Implementation Plans and Monitoring, developing an illicit discharge high priority area, among other tasks. The consultant will be required to attend and support meetings with County staff as necessary to report project status, review plans and make field investigations and critical decisions. The consultant may also be required to attend/address public meetings or presentations to boards and/or County Council as deemed necessary by the County. Additional scope of service requirements and details may be included or developed during contract negotiations with the top ranked proposer. GCPO reserves the right to reject or deny any requests made by the Consultant. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
