Reference Number 0000396867 Question Deadline 09/12/2025 at 2:00 PM ET Questions regarding this Request for Bid should be submitted in writing and emailed to purchasing@georgetownsc.gov The City of Georgetown, South Carolina is seeking bids from licensed and qualified roofing contractors to perform roof repairs at the WTP office/lab building and WWTP office/lab building and shop maintenance buildings. Bid Intent Deadline 09/15/2025 02:00 PM EDT Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % Scope of Services Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Full roof system replacement of admin/lab building to include: 1. Remove and haul away of all existing roofing membrane. 3. Remove and haul away existing insulation. 4. Remove and haul away existing metal coping and flashing. 5. Furnish and install new 3.5-inch roof insulation. 6. Furnish and install new TPO roof membrane 7. Furnish and install new metal coping and flashing at parapet wall. 8. Provide roof flashing around vent pipes with new vent boots. 9. Protect buildings from water intrusion during installation. 10. Cleanup work area. Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Full roof system replacement of both admin/lab building and maintenance shop building to include: 1. Remove and haul away roof ballast. 2. Remove and haul away all existing roofing membrane. 3. Remove and haul away existing insulation. 4. Remove and haul away existing metal coping and flashing. 5. Furnish and install new 3.5-inch roof insulation. 6. Furnish and install new TPO roof membrane 7. Furnish and install new metal coping, edging, and flashing at parapet walls. 8. Provide roof flashing around vent pipes with new vent boots. 9. Furnish and install new commercial-grade gutters and downspouts 10. Protect building from water intrusion during installation. 11. Cleanup work area. Contractor shall attend one pre-construction conference with the Owner. Contractor shall comply with all applicable OSHA regulations. The allowed working hours are Monday-Friday from 7 am until 5 pm. Roof Specifications Roof Insulation: 3.5 in. - Roof insulation used with TPO system. Roof Membrane: 60-mil TPO (white) Sheetmetal Flashing: 0.32-in. aluminum Gutters and Downspouts: 0.32 in. aluminum commercial grade. New roofing assembly must meet wind design requirements for coastal areas. Manufacturer: GAF, Johns Manville, Carlisle Syntec All material submittals must be approved by the Owner prior to installation.
