Renovation of a mixed-use development in Montreal, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility; clubhouse / community center; 120-room hospitality development; and one-story below grade, 50-space parking garage.
Upgrades, repairs and redevelopment of the former Van Horne Warehouse building. The scope of work will include the rehabilitation and transformation of the existing seven-story warehouse located at 1 Van Horne Avenue, as well as construction of a new building adjacent to the west. The two buildings would form a mixed-use complex at the junction of the Plateau-Mont-Royal and Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie boroughs, and near Outremont. TIMELINE: The project is very preliminary. The Montreal Public Consultation Office (OCPM) has published the public consultation report on the project of transformation the Van Horne warehouse, an iconic building in Plateau-Mont-Royal erected in 1924. The Office opinion is that the project is generally well received and needs further development. Scope of work, budget and timelines of the project development are being finalized.
