Question Deadline 09/24/2025 at 4:00 PM CT questions must be in the form of email to: jjackson@scphousingauthority.com; or submitted on the Housing Agency Marketplace Replacement of metal steps Contractor agreesto furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, machinery, and supervision necessary to successfully provide for the Replacement of Steps At The Boutte Property, located at 200 Boutte Estates Drive, Boutte, LA 70039. Offerors are encouraged to obtain a clear understanding of the Scope of Work prior to proposal submission. Clarification must be requested in writing and SCPHA will provide written responses to all queries received. Offerors may also submit written requests for walk-through site visits to the Boutte Development. All requests are to be directed to: jjackson@scphousingauthority.com Contractor recognizes that various materials and equipment may be required to fulfill Scope requirements and acknowledges that he/she owns or has access to all necessary materials and/or equipment. Site Prep: 1. Contractor will coordinate with SCPHA maintenance staff to ensure that all debris that would prevent the work to be undertaken is removed; if a dumpster is needed that will be coordinated and paid for by the contractor, a cost which can be billed to SCPHA. Fabrication or purchase of the new steps: 1. Contractor must fabricate or purchase the new steps to be installed to the exact specifications of the building where the replacement will occur Removal of the current steps: 1. Contractor will remove the current damaged steps and dispose of them Installation of the new steps: 1. Contractor will make any repairs needed to the brick work or parts of the facade of the building damaged by step removal to ensure that steps are secure 2. Contractor will install and secure the new metal steps to the building structure Cleanup Provisions: 1. On a daily basis, Contractor shall keep premises free of accumulated debris and construction materials. 2. Contractor(s) shall be responsible for removing debris at the end of every workday. 3. There shall be no cleaning of tools, washing or dumping of materials in the drains or on SCPHA grounds. 4. All damages made by the Contractor(s) and/or its subcontractors shall be properly repaired at the cost of the Contractor. End Results: The workmanship shall be of the best quality in accordance with the trade and shall comply with SCPHA's property maintenance priorities stated above. Any work performed must be done with the consideration of the residentsliving conditions, and in adherence to any local, state or federal laws and regulations Pre-proposal conference: For the purposes of allowing prospective contractors to ask questions in-person, request RFP clarifications if needed, and to personally inspect the damaged unit in order to best be in the position to submit a response to this RFP. This preproposal conference is not mandatory to submit a response to this request, but it is suggested that any contractor that wishes to respond to this solicitation be in attendance. This pre-proposal conference will be held on September 17, 2025, at 200 Boutte Estates Dr., Boutte, LA, 70094 from 10:00AM - 12:00 noon.
