Reference Number 0000301831 Question Deadline 09/12/2025 at 3:00 PM CT Landfill Life-of-Site Study Waste Disposal Grounds Pricing Lump sum The objective of this project is to provide the COT with a professional engineering assessment of the landfills remaining life, closure and post-closure planning needs, and environmental monitoring obligations. The study shall also deliver an annual report template and a standard operating procedure (SOP) for monitoring well sampling, to assist the COT in meeting ongoing license requirements. 3.1 Determination of remaining landfill capacity (volumetric assessment) 3.2 Projection of closure timelines under current and projected waster generation rates 3.3 Assessment of landfill gas management and leachate control systems 3.4 Review of environmental monitoring data for compliance with Manitoba regulations 3.5 Development of closure and post-closure cost estimates (Class D) 3.6 Preparation of a plain-language summary document suitable for Council and the public 3.7 Preparation of an annual reporting template structured for City use 3.8 Development of a standard operating procedure for annual monitoring well sampling 3.9 Recommendations for risk mitigation and compliance improvements Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
