Site work for a civil project in Saint Helena Island, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Question Deadline 09/29/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the bidding documents are to be directed to Engineer. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answer. The work will consist of the following: Base Bid: Demolition and construction of improvements to the existing Influent Pump Station Building, removal and replacement of three (3) Evoqua screw lift pumps with new Evoqua equipment, building ventilation improvements, electrical and SCADA modifications, and associated appurtenances as shown in the Plans and Specifications. Alternate Bid No. 1: Removal and replacement of three (3) Evoqua screw lift pumps with new Lakeside equipment, modification of concrete supports and associated work as shown in the Plans and Specifications. Alternate Bid No. 2: Removal and replacement of the two (2) Motor Control Centers (MCCs) in the existing Influent Pump Station Building as shown in the Plans and Specifications. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a cash deposit or certified check, drawn on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, in an amount equal to not less than five percent of the proposal.
