Description: The Beaufort-Jasper Water & Sewer Authority is accepting proposals for dredging the aerobic digester located at our St. Helena Wastewater Treatment Plant: 34 Old Polowanna Rd, St Helena Island, SC 29920. If your firm is intending to self-perform 100% of the work/services, yousimply need to return the Self-performance Affidavit with your Bid. All work must be completed and billed by JUNE 30, 2026. Conditions-Scope of Work: Dredge the solids and de-water the solids from the wastewater treatment lagoon located at BJWSA's St. Helena Wastewater Treatment Plant. The dewatered solids shall be transported to a landfill of the contractor's choice. Estimated Pond Dimensions: 165' x 165' with a depth of 13' from bottom to top of dyke. The pond was originally constructed as an effluent holding pond with a concrete liner (1984 record drawing). The pond was converted to an aerobic digester. (1994 record drawing) Pond is approximately 0.625 AC with a concrete liner. Pricing shall be inclusive of: All equipment required to perform the excavation, de-watering, storage and transportation of the solids to the landfill as well as dumping fees.
