Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Moundsville, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a fitness / recreation center; and for site work for a fitness / recreation center.
The Project includes site preparation and construction of a new indoor recreation center building. Building construction consists of a wide-span Pre-Engineered Metal Building and traditional stick built assemblies with concrete spread footings with CMU foundation walls. The facility consists of a gymnasium and adjacent supporting community, fitness, and administrative spaces. Exterior finishes include metal panels, masonry assemblies and aluminum storefront systems. Roofing consists of concealed fastener metal panels. Interior partitions are metal studs with drywall. Interior finishes include painted drywall, polished concrete and multi-use sports flooring. The building includes electrical, communications, lighting, plumbing, and HVAC Systems. Site work includes asphalt and concrete paving and landscaping. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the City of Moundsville in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid.
